FIRST Lego League
SBR is excited to be starting new teams that will go on to compete in the FIRST Lego League competition next year. Through this program, students will learn valuable skills in coding, engineering, and teamwork, all while having fun and making new friends. Join us and be a part of shaping the future of robotics in San Benito!
First Tech Challenge
FIRST® Tech Challenge encourages teams to design, build, program, and engage in thrilling robotics competitions. Guided by adult coaches and mentors, students develop STEM skills and practice engineering principles, while realizing the value of innovation and teamwork. The reusable robot kit can be coded using a variety of programming languages. Students are encouraged to create team identities and be an ambassador for FIRST and STEM in their communities.
First Robotics Competition
SBR is committed to providing support and opportunities for the high school robotics team by building an organization that can provide funds and mentorship. We believe that by nurturing the talents and passions of the next generation of roboticists, we can inspire them to make a positive impact in our community and beyond. American Rocketry Challenge
The American Rocketry Challenge, the world’s largest student rocket competition, has engaged over 100,000 middle and high school students in model rocketry. The challenge provides a yearlong opportunity to gain hands-on engineering experience by designing, building, testing, and launching model rockets to meet rigorous requirements. The program fosters leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills as students deepen their interest and passion for aerospace and STEM.
